Douglas Prieto
joined Lynch, Chappell & Alsup in 2007. His practice is concentrated in the
areas of business law and oil and gas, with a particular emphasis on general
corporate transactions, the preparation of title opinions, the documentation of
all phases of oil and gas transactions, and the coordination of various
activities related to the acquisition and divestiture of oil and gas properties.
Mr. Prieto is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and the State Bar of New Mexico.
He is a member and serves as secretary of the Midland County Bar Association, and also
a member of the American Bar Association and the Midland County Young Lawyers Association.
Mr. Prieto received his B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin in 2002. He
graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2006. Mr. Prieto also
received his Master of Business Administration from the Texas Tech University
Graduate School of Business in 2006.
