Austin handles many of our firm’s estate planning and probate cases, helping individuals prepare to pass their assets on to family, friends and charitable organizations while planning for specific tax liabilities. Austin is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and handles a broad spectrum of arrangements within this practice, from large and complex estate planning matters to navigating Texas probate law to ensure that the decedent’s property is distributed according to his or her wishes.

Austin assists clients in the formation of non-profit entities, including private foundations, and in preparation and filing of Form 1023 to obtain Section 501(c)(3) recognition.

Austin also helps small and family-owned businesses with corporate matters including the formation of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies, and assists with certain business transactions and real estate matters.

Austin is a Midland, Texas resident with deep ties to the community. He is married with three children, serves on the board of directors of several local nonprofits and is active in his church.
