James M. Alsup has practiced with LC&A since 1967. Throughout his career, Mr. Alsup has remained focused on helping clients achieve success through his principal practice areas, including contracts, corporate finance, asset acquisitions and dispositions, commercial loan transactions, real estate, probate and trust.

Mr. Alsup served as the Assistant City Attorney for the city of Midland before joining LC&A. He has called Midland home for more than 50 years and has dedicated his time and expertise to several local nonprofit entities in the community, including Schreiner University, the Texas Bar Foundation, Permian Basin Area Foundation, Scharbauer Foundation, Midland Petroleum Club, Midland Memorial Hospital and Medical Center, Midland/ Odessa Area AIDS Support, Inc., Permian Basin MHMR Foundation and Hospice of Midland. He is a US Army Veteran and an Elder and former Trustee for his church, where he also teaches.
