Scott Ryburn Bio

Scott Ryburn handles all types of estate planning cases for our clients, from simple and straightforward will documents to complex strategies designed around incomes, estates, generation-skipping transfer taxes and charitable giving plans. He is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has spent more than three decades helping clients fulfill their short and long-term objectives with regard to ownership and disposition of their assets, ultimately minimizing the tax burden on family members and heirs.

In addition to personal estates, Mr. Ryburn has a broad range of experience in forming corporations, partnerships and other business entities as a part of planning for the disposition of family-owned businesses. He is also well-versed in the preparation of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.

Mr. Ryburn grew up in West Texas and has spent his entire professional career in Midland, where he also donates his time and guidance to several area nonprofits and causes. He and his wife, Amy, raised their four children in the Midland community and now enjoy spending time with their grandchildren.
