Scott Ryburn Bio

Scott is the firm’s senior estate planning and probate attorney, having practiced law with the firm since 1980. He is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. His practice is focused primarily in helping clients develop strategies and techniques to minimize inheritance taxes, provide for the orderly disposition of assets at death and assisting clients in the administration of estates after death.

Scott has always been active in the community, having formerly served on the board of Trustees of Midland Christian School, Midland Fairhavens and the Permian Basin Area Foundation, and he is currently serving as a Director of the Scharbauer Foundation.

Scott and his wife, Amy, raised their four children in Midland and are now enjoying their role as grandparents to their six grandchildren. They are also involved in the Christian ministry as members of Mid-Cities Community Church.
