Formerly a partner with Kerr, Ward, McLaughlin, Alsup & Miller, L.L.P. of Midland, J. Devin Alsup joined the firm in January of 2004 and has been a shareholder since 2007.

Mr. Alsup’s principal practice areas include oil and gas title examination, the preparation of Original Title Opinions, Drilling Opinions and Division Order Title Opinions, and the preparation and review of oil and gas contracts and transactions involving the acquisition and divestiture of oil and gas properties.

Mr. Alsup is a member of First Presbyterian Church of Midland. He grew up in Midland and is committed to the local community, dedicating his time and leadership to charitable organizations. He has two sons, Briggs and Brady.
