Randall L. Rouse Bio
Randall L. Rouse is a shareholder with the law firm of Lynch, Chappell & Alsup in Midland, Texas. His practice experience of over 48 years includes oil .and gas, labor and employment, commercial and business law, tort, insurance, malpractice and bankruptcy related matters. He has substantial jury and bench trial experience in State and Federal Court and has tried numerous jury trials and as a result, Rouse has earned the rank of Advocate with the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Rouse has served as a lead trial counsel in a wide variety of cases involving oil and gas, creditors rights and bankruptcy, insurance defense, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, hospital law and malpractice, personal injury and property damage, products liability defense, defense of municipalities and counties, real estate disputes, commercial arbitrations, employment defense, commercial and business litigation, and appellate matters in all courts. Rouse has represented both plaintiff and defendant. In addition, Rouse has argued numerous cases before State and Federal Appellate Courts many of which have become reported decisions in the State and Federal Courts.

Mr. Rouse’s experience and expertise earned him the rank of Advocate with the American Board of Trial Advocates and Fellow of the litigation Counsel of America, a trial lawyer honorary society composed of less than one-half of one percent of American Lawyers.
Rouse received both his undergraduate and his law degrees from Texas Tech University.
Mr. Rouse frequently delivers lectures and seminars on employment and trial advocacy topics, and has taught several business law, bankruptcy and employment law courses at area colleges and continuing education institutions.
He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals – Fifth Circuit, the United States Supreme Court; the United States District Courts and Bankruptcy Courts for Texas, the Southern District of West Virginia and all State Courts of Texas and West Virginia.
He is a member of the State Bar of Texas; State Bar of West Virginia; American Bar Association; Fifth Circuit Bar Association; American Board of Trial Advocates; Super Lawyers Texas; America’s Top 100 Attorneys; Top Lawyers Texas; a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, a trial lawyer honorary society composed of less than one-half of one percent of American Lawyers, American Bankruptcy Institute, a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, Fellow of American Bar Foundation, Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in America, and a Life Member of the National Registry of Who’s Who.
He is committed to the Midland and Odessa communities and dedicates his time and guidance to several nonprofit organizations, including the Life Center, where he has served as chairman of the board for more than twenty years. Mr. Rouse is married with two grown children and three grandchildren, and serves as an elder of his church.
