Richard Booth Bio

Richard Booth brings decades of experience in the oil and gas industry, both in the active practice of law handling oil and gas litigation matters and general oil and gas counseling, and as an independent in the oil and gas industry. He has served as lead trial counsel in such diverse matters as producer/pipeline litigation, royalty litigation, surface use issues including groundwater contamination litigation, operator/non-operator litigation, insurance defense, and contract and deed construction litigation.

Booth formerly served in the capacity of in-house counsel for Pioneer Natural Resources USA, Inc. and as attorney for the Midland, Texas, Office of General Counsel of Mobil Exploration and Producing U.S., Inc. He has spoken at numerous seminars and co-authored articles on oil and gas issues.
